Vauban Citadel

You can reach the Vauban Citadel from the hotel at Le Palais harbour, a symbol of the military genius Sébastien Le Prestre Vauban and a remarkable witness to Belle-Ile's military history.


Built in the Middle Ages and altered by Vauban from 1683, the Vauban Citadel is open for visits.
